Examine a grain of sand under a microscope, and compare the outline of its edge to the edge of a coastline. You will find that the contours are similar. This similarity happens all across nature- in the most minute patterns within tree cells, for example, we find hints of the tangle of tree roots, suggestions of the way rain falls on the surface of a leaf, foreshadowing of the path of streams toward an estuary.
What can these recurring similarities tell us about the nature of creation?
